Refrigerated transport

Open Word Document

Refrigerated transport is when meat which has been recently slaughtered, is transported. The meat must stay fresh for quality, processing efficiency, and food safety. Therefore, the meat must be refrigerated during the transportation from one facility to the next for further processing, such as boning, and later for exporting overseas and to domestic locations.
