Refrigerated transport

Open Word Document

Refrigerated transport is when meat, having been recently slaughtered, is transported. This meat must stay fresh for quality, processing efficiency, and food safety. Therefore, this meat must be refrigerated during transportation from one facility to the next for further processing such as boning and later for exporting overseas and to domestic locations.
